"The New Dog." That is the perfect name actually. Trust me, it will sound natural soon enough. I like it. "The New Dog." Or just "New Dog." BRILLIANT!!
The new dog looks to be a good listener. I'll date myself, but this transported me to the Daily Listener, newspaper from back in the day run by Cecil Dennis, Sr., probably before you were born. So my vote is for LISTENER.
Hey everyone - thanks for the suggestions! As I wrote to Daiyouga after a good laugh, "The New Dog" was actually starting to sound natural. We (the parents) wanted him to have a name that would make the rogues afraid to come into the yard, but when I suggested "Killer" everyone objected vehemently. The kids, unfortunately, heard he was called "Frisky" at his first home and have taken to calling him that. Oh well...we'll just have to get an extra Security Guard.
I've seen a sign for an animal clinic in Mamba Point (near the MSF Hospital) but I've never gone there to see the place. My vet, Mr. Koikoi (pronounced kway-kway), makes house calls. He also takes care of my Dad's German Shepherds.

Hey, I would prefer the "new dog" being called companion or "the blogger". Or blogger. That puppy is cute.
Ben.

as a vet tech, I see all sorts of names...
I vote for "the new dog"...that is one that I have not seen in 10 years in the vet business!
How about Lassie?

Are there any veterinarians in Monrovia? I'm relocating to Monrovia and I want guard dogs to protect my home.
Thanks.
